The international hotel building boom has been a boon for Reed Business Information's Hotels magazine, No. 5 (+93%) on min's b2b's April Top 20 Titles table. "The majority of hotel construction is happening outside the U.S.," says publisher Dan Hogan, citing countries including China, India and the United Arab Emirate Dubai as big players.
The weak dollar means that more companies are seeking to export products (e.g. high-end faucet fixtures) to construction projects in these countries since exporting is lucrative when the dollar is down.
