Spanish petroleum and petrochemicals company Cepsa has approved the merger of its chemical subsidiaries - Ertisa, Interquisa and Petresa - into a single firm Cepsa Quimica, the company said in a statement.
Cepsa Quimica will handle the commercial operations for the chemical products made at Cepsa refineries.
Fernando Iturruieta, Cepsa's senior VP of petrochemicals, will take on the position of chief executive of the new company, according to the statement.
