Baghdad, Apr 29, (VOI) - A parliamentary committee member on Tuesday said an investigating committee was formed to probe the Mahmoudiya mass grave discovered by the U.S. army in the southern Baghdad suburb.
"A joint committee composed of Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi and PM Nouri al-Maliki, along with the National Reconciliation Office, was formed in an attempt to gather as much information possible to reveal the groups involved in the mass grave that was discovered," MP Abdel Karim al-Samarai told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI).
