Every year at the annual general meeting of two leading cement companies, 62-year-old Alois Chami lifts his hand for attention. As one of the most vocal shareholders at the AGM, Chami is today concerned that two separate companies - Bamburi and East African Portland Cement Company (EAPCC) where he has put his money - are working on a merger.
