Article: POPULARITY AND DESIRABILITY OF USED VEHICLES CONTINUES TO INCREASE, ACCORDING TO STUDY OF THE DOHRING COMPANY, INC.

DETROIT, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- A growing number of Americans see used vehicles as a better transportation value, even as consumers report record high levels of satisfaction with their new cars and trucks.

This is according to a national study released today at the Automotive News World Congress. The survey of 1,253 consumers was conducted by The Dohring Company, Inc. of Glendale, Calif.

Respondents were asked if they would prefer to spend $15,000 on a new vehicle or on a higher-end, two- to three-year-old used vehicle, in good condition with a manufacturer's warranty.
