SHEFFIELD'S annual Children's Festival gets underway this Saturday - with organisers promising it will be bigger and better than ever before.
The 16th festival celebrates the creative talent of more than 20,000 children and young people from 130 schools in the city, and will see their work displayed or performed at a host of different venues.
The inspiration for this year's event is the Silk Road - a traditional trade route connecting Asia and Rome.
