NORTH BROOKFIELD Andrew H. Caron died peacefully on June 6, 2008 in the Blair House in Worcester under the care of UMass Memorial Hospice. He was born February 5, 1915 in Ware, MA the only son of Antoine & Eugenie (Brunelle) Caron.
Andrew worked at H.H. Brown Shoe Co. in Worcester for 32 years, returning to North Brookfield he worked at Quabaug Rubber Co. for 20 years retiring in 1980. At age 65 he took a part-time job at Hodes Supermarket in Spencer for 13 years where he made many new friends.
He was good at many sports including bowling & golf. In the late 1930s & late 40s he pitched for a local baseball team called the Rosebuds. The games were ...
