Clinton High School graduate Allison Mullin received the Lester E. Schwartz Memorial Scholarship for $1,000 and Matthew Hammond received the PTA Award for $500. The awards were reversed in the June 10 Item.

CLINTON - The Clinton High School Class of 2008 had such intense academic competition for the honor of being named valedictorian and salutatorian that four students were in the running right down to the last final exam in May.
On Saturday, the Class of 2008 graduated during ceremonies at Central Park in Clinton.
