PITTSBURGH, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- H.J. Heinz Company (NYSE: HNZ) today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Earth's Best, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, a marketer of organic baby food. The transaction is subject to the approval of the stockholders of Earth's Best.
"Earth's Best will provide us with a full range of premium, organic baby foods to supplement the Heinz brand of infant cereals, juices, and strained and junior foods," noted Anthony J.F.
