PITTSBURGH, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- H.J. Heinz Company (NYSE: HNZ) today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Earth's Best, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, a marketer of organic baby food. The transaction is subject to the approval of the stockholders of Earth's Best.
