Altimo general director named chairman of VimpelCom board
MOSCOW. June 11. (Interfax) - Altimo's general director Alexei Reznikovich has been named chairman of OJSC VimpelCom's (RTS: VIMP) board of directors, the operator said in a statement.
David Haines earlier headed the VimpelCom board.
It was earlier reported that shareholders in OJSC VimpelCom elected a new board of directors on Monday at the company's annual meeting, the provider said in a statement posted on its website.
