MANILA, May 18 (PNA) -- The bicameral Commission on Appointments (CA) has laid out a hectic schedule, ahead of the June 11 sine die adjournment of Congress.
"We are purposely expediting confirmation hearings now, and looking to endorse as many qualified nominees and appointees as possible over the next three weeks," CA member and Cebu Rep. Eduardo Gullas said.
This week alone, Gullas said at least three CA committees are scheduled to hold hearings.
On Monday, May 19, Gullas said the committee on constitutional commissions and offices chaired by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, with Agusan del Sur Rep. Rodolfo Plaza as vice chairman, is set to hear the ...
