AN appeal to help a desperately-ill Bahraini boy has fallen on deaf ears, raising just BD430 towards the BD13,230 needed for spinal cord cultivation surgery.
Ali Mohammed needs help to send his son Abdulaziz to Jordan to cure him from a rare and painful disorder, which affects just one in a million people worldwide.
Abdulaziz was diagnosed with the blood disorder cyclic neutropenia when he was six months old and is plagued by recurrent infections.
He has a history of ear and tonsil inflammations every six to eight weeks, as a result of low resistance to infection caused by low neutrophil counts.
