ZAMBOANGA CITY, April 15 (PNA)-Authorities pointed to bandits of the Abu Sayyaf Group, listed as a terrorist group by the United States and the European Union, as primary suspects in Sunday's blasts which damaged a cathedral in this city.
Zamboanga City Police officer-in-charge, Supt. Jonathan Perez, made this disclosure noting that threats were received from the bandits prior to the incident.
"Actually there are threats in our AOR (area of responsibility). They are the ones (Abu Sayyaf bandits)," Perez said.
