PHILADELPHIA, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crown Holdings, Inc. (Crown) (http://www.crowncork.com/) announces the construction of a new beverage can plant on its existing food can manufacturing site in Casablanca, Morocco.
Operational in late 2009, the plant will produce aluminum beverage cans with an initial capacity of 700 million cans a year. The facility is being designed to accommodate the future installation of additional production lines as market demand grows. This investment is part of the Company's 2009 capital program.
