Microsoft Office 2008 meets with some less-than-enthusiastic reviews
Microsoft rewards our four-year wait for Office 2008 (Reviews, April 2008) by removing VBA macros from Excel? I won't be upgrading if it means trashing the hard work I put into developing macros for wine-list management, golf-score calculators, and tax calculators.

Not only does Excel 2008 not support VBA, but its graphs no longer allow the use of error bars. Also, the Analysis Toolpak is absent and Word is incompatible with EndNote. This upgrade is worse than a waste of money.
