John du Pont, heir of the Du Pont chemical company, who was arrested and charged with the murder of an Olympic wrestling champion, had a fear of Black, news reports say.
Mr. du Pont, 57, was arrested outside his home in Newton Square, PA, after a two-day standoff with police. He allegedly shot and killed White Olympic champion David Schultz.
Multimillionaire du Pont is a major contributor to wrestling in the U.S., including the USA Wrestling, the sport's governing body. His estate was used as a training center.
