More than 40 businesses have signed on for the annual Taste of Shrewsbury Street from 5 to 9 p.m. June 24.
The people pitching the event (the sixth) report foodies are in for a real treat with the variety in tastings, plus live music, local art, a cookie contest, salsa dancing and other attractions. Head honchos include Michael Carrigan, owner of Caffe Dolce, president of the Shrewsbury Street Area Merchants Association; Paul Barber, owner of The Flying Rhino, Taste chairman; and Paula McCarthy, chef/owner of Zia's, Taste committee chairwoman.
