OXFORD - David I. "Big Daddy" Barrie, 72, of Beverly Street, died peacefully on Sunday, June 8, at Sunbridge-Sandalwood Nursing Home, Oxford, with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara J. (Holyoke) Barrie of Oxford; four children, Susan G. Rys and her husband, David, of Woodstock, Conn., Sheryl A. Parker of Oxford, Scott D. Barrie and his companion, Terry, of Oxford, and Sally L. Belanger-Metzger and her husband, Ron Metzger, of Sutton; his sister, M. Patricia Barrie of West Boylston, a sister-in-law, Anna Barrie of Holden; seven grandchildren, Jaryd, Katie, Sarah, Tracy, Jill, Jane, and Tyler; and a great-grandson, Dylan. He was ...
