Article: ABC CITES STORES FOR SEXUALLY EXPLICIT DISPLAYS

CERRITOS, Calif., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Investigators of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) today took action against five ABC licensed businesses for the open display of video tape covers displaying sexually explicit material. Under State law, any adult material sold in stores must be placed in an area marked "adult only," and must be covered so as not to be visible to anyone under 18 years of age.

The video covers confiscated by ABC investigators depicted male and female sexual organs and sex acts, and were found in areas readily visible or accessible to children.
