Sen. Hillary Clinton had clearly been Central New York's favorite daughter in the presidential campaign. She was the top vote-getter in the Democratic primary in February and she raised more money locally than her rivals.
Now that she's out of the race, Upstate voters have to choose whether to back the Democrats' presumptive nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, or the Republicans' candidate, Sen. John McCain.
