In the mid-1990s, Pacific Aerospace and Electronics was one of the greatest new businesses in the Wenatchee Valley, growing quickly and acquiring businesses from North Central Washington to Europe.
By 2002, it was in a downturn and by 2004, many people wondered if the company was still around.
Now, Lew Wear, U.S. operations president for PA&E, and Charlie Miracle, vice president of finance and chief financial officer, said the company is no longer struggling to stay solvent. It's trying to keep up with the orders.
