Tom Stokes, CEO of Tree Top Inc., was elected by the Washington Apple Education Foundation board of directors to serve as its chairman during the Foundation's annual meeting May 6 in Cashmere. Stokes has been a member of the board of directors since 2005. He accepted the leadership post from Roger Calhoun (Naches) who completed his term as chairman at the same meeting.
Also elected to serve as officers of WAEF were Ruth Pringle (Naches) of Yakima Valley Orchards as vice-chairman; Steve Clive (Wenatchee) of Union Bank of California as secretary; and Stan Scheumann (Orondo) of Auvil Fruit Company as treasurer. Jack Toevs (Quincy) and Tom Stokes (Selah) were each ...
