The Macmillan Cancer Support regional rally in Midhurst last week gave many local supporters the chance to hear what the organisation has achieved over the last year and its plans for the future.
The well-attended meeting in the Methodist Church Hall showed the popularity of the regional rallies and the charity's chief executive, Kieran Devane was present.
Several speakers gave short talks on aspects of the charity. The first was Macmillan's achievements, explaining how much money had been raised, and how around 1.4 million people had been helped.
