Bear Stearns & Co., Prudential Securities Inc., and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. have been selected as senior underwriters on more than $1 billion of California lease revenue bonds expected to be issued in three separate negotiated sales this year, Treasurer Matt Fong announced late Thursday.

Fong also announced co-managers and bond counsel appointments for pending 1996 state bond issues.
