CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 1996--Associated Press and Neville & Co. have chosen Thunderstone's Texis information management and retrieval DBMS to serve as the foundation for the next-generation BBC Electronic News Production System pilot program.

The prototype, ready this spring, is intended to replace a decade-old BASYS system.

According to the BBC, the Electronic News Production System's (ENPS) mission is to link journalists with archives and production, via personal computers, to enhance proficiency.
