THE decision to block planning permission for a John Lewis store at Sprucefield won't have a bearing on The Outlet at Bridgewater Park being a major success.
That's the view of an Outlet spokesperson who was speaking after a legal challenge to grant planning permission for a John Lewis store was upheld in the High Court.
The decision effectively quashes planning permission for the [pounds sterling]40 million pound development at Sprucefield.
"We could have worked having John Lewis nearby to our advantage through our marketing," said the Outlet spokesperson.
