Art Basel is, by general consensus, the world's best, as well as biggest, contemporary art fair. This year--its 39th--promises to be another marathon event, with 300 exhibiting galleries from across the globe showing a diverse selection of work from over 2,000 artists, in addition to public art projects, some 60 innovative large-scale projects in the Art Unlimited hall and a raft of museum shows around the Swiss city, from Chaim Soutine to Andrea Zittel.
