A new study, 'Oral administration of a Bacillus subtilis spore-based vaccine expressing Clonorchis sinensis tegumental protein 22.3 kDa confers protection against Clonorchis sinensis,' is now available. "Human clonorchiasis, caused by the infection of Clonorchis sinensis, is endemic in China. In this study, a full-length cDNA sequence encoding C. sinensis tegumental protein 22.3 kDa (CsTP22.3) was identified from adult cDNA library," researchers in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China report (see also
