CLINTON - What a difference seven days can make.

Last week, the Board of Selectmen decided that come Wednesday, it would decide whether to sign a state-proposed conservation restriction for the Wekepeke Reservoir. If the decision was no, don't sign it, the board would then have directed Community and Economic Development Director Don Lowe to inform the state that the town would not be able to accept a $356,000 grant toward the purchase of the $2.7 million, 62-acre Rauscher property.

Wednesday night came and went, and no decision was made on the fate of the conservation restriction.
