Last Sunday, Down travelled to Omagh as no-hopers, but turned round aseven-point deficit to squeeze a replay out of the Ulster champions. Theself-belief garnered last week was evident on Saturday as Ross Carrs side madethe vital break just before half time in extra-time.
Tyrones Tommy McGuigan had scored a stoppage-time equaliser to drag the RedHands into extra time, where they soon led by four points and looked set toclose the game out.
