DETROIT, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its long tradition of leadership on health care issues, the UAW has established the Center for Community Health Care Initiatives to coordinate a union-wide effort to improve the quality, accessibility, and cost-efficiency of health care delivery systems in communities throughout the United States.

Robert N. Alpert has been named Executive Director of the Center.
