Work on modernizing Maputo international airport will be finished by the end of 2009 at a cost of USD 75 million, the chairman of airport management company Empresa Aeroportos de Mocambique announced Macauhub in Maputo.Diodino Cambaza announced, that work was being carried out by Chinese company Anhui Foreign Economic Construction Corporation (AFECC), which was granted the international tender to modernise the airport.
