Lillian Robinson, feminist scholar and activist, died of ovarian cancer on September 23, 2006, at the age of 65. At the time of her death, Robinson was principal of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and professor of Women s Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. Her family, colleagues, and many friends mourn her passing, and the feminist community marks her original and brilliant contributions to both theory and action.
