CLEVELAND, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Associated Press and Neville & Company have chosen Thunderstone's Texis information management and retrieval DBMS to serve as the foundation for the next-generation BBC Electronic News Production System pilot program. The prototype, ready this Spring, is intended to replace a decade-old BASYS system.
According to the BBC, the Electronic News Production System's (ENPS) mission is to link journalists with archives and production, via personal computers, to enhance proficiency.
