BEDFORD, Mass., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Opta Food Ingredients, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTS), confirmed today that it has obtained an exclusive license from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for a proprietary new technological process, often referred to as Fantesk by the USDA, which involves coprocessing starch, hydrocolloids and oil to create new food ingredients.
