THE two pedestrians killed when they were hit by a car have been named by police.
They were 14-year-old Steven Joshua Bye from Rushton Road, Desborough, and 18-year-old Mikhail Richard Checkley from Willow Close, Desborough.
The teenagers were declared dead at the scene of the accident, which happened on the A6116 Brigstock bypass at about 2.40am on Saturday, June 14.
Flowers placed at the roadside paid tribute to "Steven and Mick".
A message on the flowers to Steven said: "Rest in peace mate. I'm so sorry you have left us. Hope you have gone to a better place. Keep out of trouble. Lots of love, Vikki and Chris."
