The Century Class is the name for Freightliner's new premium truck to go at the head of its extensive model line-up. Launched late in October, the truck range breaks new ground in electronic controls, diagnostics, and vehicle management, with new low-maintenance componentry, industry-leading aerodynamics, and warranties.
Freightliner president Jim Hebe also announced the new 12-liter Detroit Diesel Series 55 - developed by Freightliner, Mercedes-Benz, and Detroit Diesel -- will be available to Freightliner exclusively for 18 months.
