The "criminal alien" population in Oregon's prisons grew by two Friday with the sentencing of two illegal immigrants to state prison for the shooting of a Springfield resident in April.
The two defendants - David Gonzalez-Ramirez, 21, and Augusto Lopez-Perez, 28 - will join at least 1,000 other illegal immigrant convicts in Oregon state prisons, foreign-born inmates the state calls "criminal aliens."
