The Turnpike gallery in Leigh is turning the tables on its visitors and asking them to supply objects and personal memories for a people's exhibition this spring.
Face Value: The Story of Objects - which runs from Saturday, March 31 through to Saturday, May 5 - will see the expansive space (pictured) above Leigh Library cleared.
It will then be up to members of the public to fill it. Some may well go for the Tracey Emin or Damien Hirst inspired approach while others will no doubt opt for a more conventional way of thinking - old school photos or a family heirloom perhaps.
