Attendees at the 55th Congress in Anaheim, California, had the opportunity to choose from a variety of education sessions presented throughout the week. Following are synopses of just a few of the sessions offered this year.
WRITING FOR PUBLICATION
Lois Hamlin, RN, BN, MN(NEd), DNurs, a member of the AORN Editorial Board, lectured on "Writing for Publication" to an audience of nearly 150 would-be authors. It was not only her soft-spoken Australian charm that held the audience. Dr Hamlin's instructions on how to write for publication were also "spot on."
