There has been a lot of talk lately about the impact TV has on skating. This was the cover story of the April SLAP. There were a variety of different insights, hypotheticals, and pros and cons looked at. It is a hot topic right now. Overall, I feel it will not matter in the long run. It is bringing more people to skateboarding. But as any real skater knows, "Only the strong survive." Skating is a full-on way of life and it's a beast of ah addiction. But it is real and true. And the beast will weed out all the ones who aren't serious and the ones who think this shit is easy.
