AN ambitious young Sowerby Bridge based athlete is targeting Olympic glory after racing to a superb silver medal spot in the 800m at last week's North of England Championships.
Kelly Johnson is now gearing up for the GB trials for Beijing which take place at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham next month, and though she knows it will take a big effort to qualify to represent her country in China, she is training hard and throwing everything into her efforts.
