WEST BOYLSTON - The West Boylston Cultural Council and State Representative, James O'Day, of West Boylston, have announced the awarding of Massachusetts Cultural Council grants for 2008 that will be a benefit to the citizens of West Boylston.
This year, the West Boylston Cultural Council received 36 applications totaling $18,000 in requests. Each application was reviewed by the council, which chose nine it felt would benefit residents of West Boylston the most.
Each year, the local council receives a sum of money from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency that receives its funding from the legislature. The state council supports public ...
