On May 14, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pension, Subcommittee on Children and Families held a hearing to examine addressing the challenge of children with food allergies. Members in attendance included Subcommittee Chairman Christopher Dodd (D-CT) and Subcommittee Ranking Member Lamar Alexander (R-TN). Mr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ALLERGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH, along with parents, professors and doctors attended the hearing, according to THE FOOD INSTITUTE Counsel OLSSON FRANK WEEDA TERMAN BODE MATZ PC.
