AS 2006 draws to a close, it will also mean an end to Angus College's 50th anniversary celebrations. In the half century since it began, the college has grown from a two room centre in Arbroath to an institution spread over five Angus campuses, educating 9,700 students and employing over 350 staff.
Celebrations throughout the year included a 50th anniversary dinner at Cortachy Castle prepared by Angus College students and also attended by guests from across Scotland.
The jubilee year welcomed many 'firsts' for the college - the first time the college ran an Access to Nursing course at the Kirriemuir Learning Centre, the first full time English for ...
