TIMES motorcycle columnist Roy Adams heads off next Monday, July 17, for a bike run with a difference.
The well-known local man is aiming to provide a financial shot-in-the-arm for a service which, in turn, could provide a life-saving boost for motorcyclists.
Roy takes up the story: "I am hoping to raise between [pounds sterling]800 and [pounds sterling]1,000 for the Motorcycle Union of Ireland Flying Doctor team.
"To do that I plan to ride my ST1100 Pan European for a lap of Ireland, sticking as much as possible to the coast."
