WHAT is it that Irish men dont get about sharing the housework? Thelatest finding of the ESRI and the Equality Authority showing that women domore is the latest in a line of surveys that say the same thing: Irish men rankamong the worst in Europe at helping around the house. They do the equivalentof one months work in the house every year less than their partners or wives.
At one level we could shrug our collective shoulders and say, so what, its onlywashing up, or shopping, or putting on a wash. Whats the big deal?
