JOB losses in Wales "accelerated sharply" last month as the nation's economic gloom deepened.
A gloomy economic report by the Royal Bank of Scotland, found that private sector jobs are disappearing from Wales faster than most other parts of the UK.
The survey of Welsh companies found that although firms were reporting increased activity and orders, the job shedding was the result of subdued market conditions in recent months and rising pressure on firms' cost structures.
