LA JOLLA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 1996-- Recent research from Computer Intelligence InfoCorp (CII), indicates that color ink jets accounted for 71 percent of printers sold through StoreBoard sales channels in December 1995. CII's StoreBoard database tracks U.S. sales channel performance and trends for microsystems, printers and software.
In December 1995, printer sales in StoreBoard channels reached the $499 million mark, and total 1995 printer sales amounted to $3.72 billion, which is up 20 percent over the previous year-end total.
