A car which belonged to James Bond actor Sean Connery has been sold at auction in Northamptonshire.

The 1961 Bentley S2 Saloon was sold for [pounds sterling]17,825 in the Rolls-Royce and Bentley auction, held by auction house Bonhams, at Kelmarsh Hall.

The car's logbook showed Mr Connery was its third owner, from July 1974, and included his signature. It had a guide price of [pounds sterling]12,000 to [pounds sterling]15,000.
